The Guarapuava Transportation and Mobility Plan was developed with a focus on mobility, accessibility, and transportation. Its methodology included researches such as Embarkation and Disembarkation surveys, Origin-destination (OD) studies, vehicle counting and classification, sidewalk condition surveys, and accessibility assessments, among others.

 

Based on the diagnosis, technical documents were developed, including the Mobility Index, the Walkability Index, the Pedestrianization Plan, Walkability Routes, the Accessibility Plan, the Cycling Plan, and Accessible Crossing Models.

Virtual simulations with different scenarios and the development of the legislative framework were also included in the Plan.
