The revision of the Municipal Director Plan of Quatro Barras (PR) reassessed its guidelines for territorial planning, management and municipal planning, considering the state and metropolitan regulations.
 

The work involved data collection, reconciling of cartographic bases, production of thematic maps, diagnosis and technical propositions.

The process for execution included a broad popular participation and manifestations from various sectors of civil society and public authorities. To that end, events such as meetings, workshops, and public hearings were held. 

Some of the subjects pointed out were environmental constraints, historical and cultural patrimonies, local economy and touristic potential.

Those aspects were used as conductors for the design of the sustainable development model of Quatro Barras, resulting in the review of the urban legislation.
