Study of Urban Transport BRT North Exit Brasília
The development of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Corridor — North Exit Project involved analysis of demand, loading, and economic viability, intending to optimize the flow of traffic in the north region of Brasília.
It included Traffic Zoning, Private and Collective Transport Analytical Network, Origin-Destination Matrix, and the articulation with the existing road system from the 2020-2030 Urban Transport Master Plan.
With the reviews, traffic allocation was carried out, introducing BRT lines, displaced from the North Axis, which reduced the travel time and mileage traveled, as pointed out in the traffic macrosimulation.
